First Transportation Company FSSC 22000 Certified

Leading the way, as first transportation company FSSC 22000 V.4.1 xertified

Over several years, Carry Transit has been on a quest to achieve FSSC 22000 certification for all our locations to include our remote railyards and terminals. In 2018 the new version of FSSC 22000 v.4.1 was adopted; this standard includes Transportation, Distribution, and Warehousing (NTA8059). Our terminals were already compliant and certified with the ISO 22000, which is the base line for the new FSSC 22000 v.4.1 standard so the transition has started. In the last few weeks with the help of our CB, NQA and Dr. Mike (as he is known), we began the process of certifying all 30 of our locations.

We began the process in Stockton, CA and moved forward into our Arlington, TX location. We are pleased to announce that all locations which have been audited breezed through the processes without any major issues and have reached our goal of becoming FSSC 22000 certified. We currently have all our locations scheduled to be audited and certified to this new standard with a completion date prior to the end of this year.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR CARRY TRANSIT AND OUR CUSTOMERS

We have become the FIRST transportation company, not only in the US but across the globe, to achieve this major certification. This assures our customers and the public that we hold ourselves to the highest food safety standards that are available to the industry.

This standard is also GFSI certified to assure the most sanitary transportation processes are in place to move your products from shipper to customer without incident.
